Puzzle
Tilecraft Quandary
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tilecraft Quandary starts as a simple slide-the-tiles puzzle and quietly gets more devious. Around level twenty it introduces locked tiles, then color pairs, then rotating segments — each new rule folded in one at a time so you're never lost, just increasingly outsmarted.
The best puzzle games make you feel clever, and this one nails that. Several times I put my phone down convinced a level was broken, only to spot the solution the next morning. That's a compliment. Hints exist but are never pushed at you.
It's not going to reinvent the genre, and later packs lean hard on difficulty. But for a pocket puzzle habit it's very well made.
